My name is Emily and I’m the person behind emknits!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved crafting and making things (my very first make that I can remember was a green deformed monkey I crocheted when I was 11). I’ve also always loved fashion and creating my own clothes that reflected my personal style and self expression.

Returning to knitting in 2021 kind of reopened the floodgates and reminded me how much I loved creating. I like to design a mixture of statement and staple pieces with opportunities to customize to personal preferences. What’s most important to me as a designer is that you’re able to create pieces you truly love.
