CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW

First the back is worked with short rows to shape the shoulders and then worked to the bottom of the armholes. The back is then placed on hold and short rows are worked along the armhole stitches to curve them below the underarm. After placing the armhole stitches on hold, stitches are picked up along each shoulder for the front left and right. The front is then joined together and worked to the bottom of the armholes. The front is placed on hold and the front armhole edges are worked with short rows. Then, the armhole edges are joined together using a three needle bind-off. Stitches are then picked up for the body at the bottom of the armhole and the front and back stitches are placed back on the needles. The body is then joined in the round and finished in 1x1 ribbing. The collar is picked up starting at the center back of the neck and worked in the round in 1x1 ribbing. Optional waist shaping is also included for the body.
